This is not a poem; this is just a statement!
Children have the right to be happy;
Children have the right to be loved;
To be loved uncondicionally -
For who they are,
Not for what people want them to be!
Children have the right to be looked after,
To have good health care, yummy healthy food...
Children have the right to play
To scream, to sing, to rejoice;
To be noisy, to be messy...
That's part of growing!
Children have the right to have toys,
Books, pens, warm or light clothes.
Children have the right to be colourful,
To be comfortable, not to be fashionable...
Children have the right to be in school,
To learn, to feel respected;
To give their contribution, to participate,
To build their own learnings.
Children have the right to be protected,
To be safe, to feel safe,
Away from all threats
And from all that can damage their personality,
Their self-estim, their self-respect.
Children have the right to dream,
To have projects, to fantasize,
Even to create imaginary worlds.
Children have the right to grow,
To become conscious and righteous adults.

Con mis
Saludos fraternos de siempre..
Que disfrutes de un hermoso fin de semana..
you are so right 100%
and if people don't want to give them these rights completely then do not have childern... at all....
you can read about them in books and such... but leave it to the people that love them and want them....
*sighs*
very nice statement
children, our hope and future!
